AP Exams

The AP Exams will be administered on paper again this year from Monday, May 1 through Wednesday, May 10.  Most exams will be held on their scheduled date in the KHIS testing labs (W304 & W305). The AP schedule of exams is below. 

Students must be enrolled in the AP Classroom for each exam they intend to take, or the test will not be ordered for them.  The 5 point weighted scale is applied only for students who have completed their corresponding test.

Each AP exam fee is $97.00 this year for students without a subsidy.  The state of Hawaii is adding to the College Board subsidy for students who are registered as Free/Reduced status with KHIS, leaving a fee of $8.00 per exam.  All students received free lunch as part of the COVID CARES Act last year.  That program has ended, so students should verify they are listed as F/R to receive the subsidy. 

Payment can be made to Ms. Calimlim in the Finance Office and should be paid ASAP as the fee was due in December.
Late payment must be paid before students attend any co-curricular events (Prom, etc). 

Student tests not paid for by quarter 4 are subject to cancellation.
