2025-26 Athletic Event Updates

ATHLETICS UPDATE

 

ATHLETIC WINTER SPORTS (9TH - 12TH GRADE ONLY)

Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Wrestling, Swimming, Paddling, JV Baseball, JV Girls Tennis.

All those interested in signing up for Winter Sports, make sure to have all your paperwork completed and submitted to the athletic trainer in order to participate and or tryout.

 

Required Information for all Optionals/Tryouts

  • Current Physical & Concussion Impact Form SUBMIT TO THE ATHLETIC TRAINER (Side of the Gym)

  • Current Assumption of Risk Form SUBMIT TO THE ATHLETIC TRAINER (Side of the Gym)

  • Forms available on the school website, athletic home page, in the front office, or athletic trainers.

  • Appropriate attire for athletic participation

  • Athletic Trainers’ Hours: After School - 4:00PM  daily to sign forms.

  • Athletic Trainers’ Hours Summer:  2:00PM - 4:00PM daily to sign forms.

Once all forms are submitted, you will be given access to sign up.  You will receive a Clearance Form to be signed for Obligations and a Parent Permission Form.  Both of these forms must be turned in to the coach in order to participate.  This includes students who are currently under a doctor’s care (please attach the doctor’s note).

 

 

WRESTLING

Aloha prospective wrestlers, we will be having off-season optional workouts starting next Monday, August 25th at 3:30PM. Please have an updated sports physical and current assumption of risk completed turned into the Athletic Trainer so you can get the athletic clearance form. A completed athletic clearance form must be presented in order to participate.

 

An off-season schedule will be provided when you attend practice.

 

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

JV Girls Team:  JV Girls qualified for the OIA Semifinals.  They competed tough against Moanalua. Thank you to all the athletes who represented Kahuku, giving their best. Fantastic season girls !  Thank you to the JV Coaching Staff and Head Coach Nelson Fotu for working hard with the JV Girls, to refine their skills.     

Varsity II White Girls Team:  OIA Champions 2025 !  Fantastic season Lady Raiders!  The team played so well, staying focused, and finishing strong.  Thank you to all the athletes who gave their individual commitment to the team's success.  You represented Kahuku and the community with greatness !!

Congratulations to White Team Head Coach Hoo Liu and coaching Staff for your long hours of commitment to build our athletes, preparing them for Success.

JV Girls Tennis:  Oct 27, 28 - Kahuku Tennis Courts behind the Gym 3:30PM - 5:30PM

Girls Soccer:  Oct 27, 28 - Kahuku Field 7:30PM - 9:00PM

Boys Soccer: Nov 3, 4 - Kahuku Field 7:30PM - 9:00PM

Paddling:  Nov 3, 4 - Kahana Valley Beach 4:00PM - 6:00PM

Girls Basketball:  Nov 3, 4 - Kahuku Gym 5:30PM - 8:00PM 

Boys Basketball:  Nov 10, 11 - Kahuku Gym 5:30PM - 7:30PM

JV Baseball:  Nov 10, 11 - Kahuku District Park 4:00PM - 6:00PM

All those interested in Boys Soccer,  come to a mandatory Meeting Wednesday, 2:30PM, In front of the Gym.                          Coach Doug will cover information and plans for the upcoming season, optional workout schedule, and the tryout and start date.  Come and meet with Head Boys Soccer Coach, Coach Doug Madruga.

ATHLETIC TICKET SALES 

GoFan is the official platform for all OIA paid events.

  • Student Activity Passes may be purchased on GoFan. These passes are $25.00 for the 2024-2025 school year. Students must take the extra step and request a ticket via the GoFun me app. for each game that they plan to attend. STUDENT ID REQUIRED AND MUST BE PRESENTED WITH THE PASS FOR ACCESS TO GAMES. THE STUDENT ACTIVITY PASS IS GOOD FOR KAHUKU HOME AND AWAY REGULAR SEASON GAMES ONLY.  NO PRE-SEASON, PLAYOFF, OR CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES.

 

Ticket Sales Information: 

-Fans can purchase tickets online through the OIA GoFan page or by presenting a card or mobile payment option at the ticket gate. All major credit cards are accepted, along with Apple Pay and Google Pay.

-The new ticketing policy allows the OIA to operate a more efficient and professional ticket gate while elevating the fan experience. 

-Buying tickets online allows fans to access and share tickets easily by email or text without standing in line.

-Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online prior to reaching the facility. For your convenience, signage will be set up at the venue to help fans navigate an online purchase quickly and easily.

Admission Prices

In addition to this new platform, the OIA ticket prices will be increased by $1.00.

Football Regular Season = $9.00

Football Championship Playoff Games = $10.00

Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, Judo, and Soccer Regular Season = $8.00

Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, Judo, and Soccer Championship Playoffs = $9.00

Baseball, Cheerleading, Softball, Swimming, Track & Field, Water Polo Championship

Playoffs = $9.00
