Head Coaching Announcement

Congratulations to our new Varsity Head Football Coach, David H. Stant Jr.

We are thrilled to announce that David H. Stant Jr. has been named the Varsity Football Head Coach for Kahuku High & Intermediate School.

A proud 1981 graduate of KHIS, Coach Stant was born and raised in Laie and is a former Red Raider student-athlete who deeply understands the expectations, legacy, and pride of this community. He returns to the North Shore with over 30 years of championship-level head coaching experience across Hawaiʻi and Japan, including a 2009 HHSAA State Championship title and extensive leadership roles at the collegiate and professional levels.

Coach Stant is fully vested in building a first-class program that prioritizes the development of "championship people". His mission is to create a culture of excellence where academic accountability, discipline, and character are the foundation. He is dedicated to shaping young men and women into leaders, ensuring they are prepared for college, career, and community readiness.

Please join us in welcoming Coach Stant back home as he leads the next era of Kahuku football. We are ready to continue the legacy—Red Raiders For Life!
