CTE Concentrators and CTE Honors

Program of Study Concentrator
Students will be recognized for being a Program of Study Concentrator upon successful completion of a sequence of Career and Technical Education courses along with a related academic course. Programs of studies and sequence are listed in the CTE Pathway section. 
 
Career and Technical Education Honors
Students will be recognized with CTE Honors once they have completed a program of study.
  • Attain a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Earn a B or better in each required program of study
    • CTE Core
    • CTE Cluster
    • Academic Course Requirement
  • Meet or exceed proficiency on performance-based assessments for corresponding program of study
 
Performance Based Assessments (PBAs)
Hawaii's unique Performance-Based Assessments evaluate students' ability to apply the academic and technical skills and knowledge they have learned in their CTE Programs of Study. The PBA includes three components:
  • Technical writing
  • Oral presentation
  • Performance assessment
 

The PBA is conducted by the Windward School District.
