NEW UNPAID MEAL CHARGE POLICY (See Red Book pg. 13) Please be aware that students are only allowed to have a negative meal balance for 21 days after the start of the school year. Effective immediately, students with negative meal balance (see below) will not be able to get a meal. Federal guidelines require students to get their meal prior to the meal scanners checking their balance, so it is important for students to know if they have money in their account prior to getting in line. Students can check their balance in the front office during recess. Please call 305-7300 for more information.
STUDENT ID REQUIRED FOR MEALS Federal US DOE guidelines require schools to input a student’s ID information prior to them picking-up a meal. Students without an ID will be sent to Q1 to get a replacement ID prior in order to pick-up a meal. If students do not have $2.00 to purchase the replacement ID, the cost will be processed as a school obligation and students can still get a meal for that day. Parents/Guardians who do not want their child to be able to get replacement IDs can email [email protected]. |
