Senior Yearbook Requirements

DEADLINE - All Senior Portraits + Baby Photos for 2020 Yearbook are due

September 28th

 

 

SENIOR PORTRAITS & BABY PHOTOS

    • In-studio Photography: Seniors should schedule an appointment with LifeTouch, 94-673 Kupuohi Street #B106 Waipahu, Hawaii 96797, 808.456.4333, our official photographer for 2019-20208. Senior portraits can be taken on June 11th through September 28th.
    • On-Campus Photography: Seniors should schedule an appointment with Mrs. Marlar, by the attached Google Form . Photography will be taken by LifeTouch on campus in P38 on August 1st and 2nd.
    • Deadline for taking a senior portrait for the yearbook is September 28th. Photographs and baby pictures submitted after this date are not guaranteed to be in the yearbook.
    • Submitting your baby photo: Please drop off a hard copy to W 301 or email a copy to [email protected], subject headline with your legal first and last name
        • Pictures should be 2x3 inches, 400 dpi or better.

 

Note: It is EXTREMELY important that these guidelines be followed to ensure your photo is in the yearbook.

 

The senior section is a semiformal section of the yearbook and has restrictions so that it is consistent. When

you find yourself asking "Is this picture OK for the yearbook?" ask if it is something you would include with a

college or job resume.

    • Poses must be a traditional head & shoulder, moderate close-up without hands.
    • All students should dress business casual or semiformal. Examples of this include:
        • Suit coat/jacket and tie (optional)
        • Collared shirts, blouse, sweater
    • The following do not meet the business casual guidelines and are not allowed:
        • No exposed shoulders ○ No props or other enhancements in your portrait
        • No sunglasses, hats, t-shirts, tank tops, dew rags, or bandanas
        • No shirts with text or print on them
    • Color pictures only
    • Traditional solid black background – no outside shots will be accepted
