We just found out that we (along with all the Hawaii State Public Library System branches and Hawaii State Library) will be closed until April 7th.
During this time, our book drop will be closed. The Kahuku High School campus is also locked up so access was limited to vehicles anyway.
Do not worry if you have books out. We are forgiving any fines for the time being.
We hope to resume services on Wednesday, April 8th.
Please continue to use our digital resources found at librarieshawaii.org.
If there's a long wait for ebooks and audiobooks on Libby/Overdrive, please do not forget that we have another app called RB Digital that allows multiple users to simultaneously download and listen to audiobooks and to access current and back issues of many popular magazines. We also have digital access to the New York Times and another news app called Press Reader.
Take comfort in your 'ohana, wash your hands, eat nutritious food, sleep deeply, take naps, and nestle up with some good reads during this critical time.
With much aloha,
Tamara, Debbie, Jo, Don, JD, Line, Marley, and Annie
