After graduation, I joined the AF, left Hawaii in Dec 65 for boot camp in San Antonio, Texas. Ted and I married in Jun 67 (and divorced in 1981). I returned home in Jul 67 on a humanitarian assignment because of my mother's death and so I could care for my younger brother. I separated from the AF in Aug 68, and reported to work as a civilian a week later. I worked at Hickam AFB for the next 36 years, starting as a GS3 and retired as a GS11 in 2004. I am currently living back in Honolulu. Cap took management of a new condo, the Moana Pacific in 2006. He now manages another condo, The Watermark but we live in the Moana Pacific near the Ala Moana Shopping Center. While I miss the salt spray of Kahuku beach and the lovely golf course that our apartment looked over while we were in Kahuku, I am enjoying being back in the city where the action is. I recently took on a part time job and enjoy it. More recently, sons Manu and Kawika married and via Manu, I now have a grandaughter that I am totally enjoying. I am still quite busy with other activities, not to mention being on our class reunion committee. Hope to see you soon!
