Growing Pono School Contest

During this COVID-19 situation, we have modified the program to be called the ‘Ohana Pono challenge whereby families can submit entries with photos and/or video showing us some of the things they’re doing at home to promote Pono and Aloha. We are also awarding weekly $50 cash prizes to get some money in the hands of families that could use it right now. Submissions are posted on our website to encourage other families. All the information is on our website at We are also offering fun and meaningful activities and resources, with a cultural twist, that families can do, or use to place entry submissions for our Pono Challenge. Our hope is to enrich 'ohana experiences during this season.
We would really appreciate help trying to get flyers out to families and understand you have your grab and go meal program. Would you be open to having me drop off some flyers to pass out? We use gloves and masks, and put them in Ziploc bags so you can rest assured we are as safe as possible. If so, please let me know when and where I could drop them off and about how many you may need. The alternative would be to print the flyers yourself to minimize outside contact. I have attached our flyer for your review, along with a "2-up" for printing choices.
Upon review, if you feel it is worthy, we would love to have you share it with your kumu, and place it on your school website. Here is what Ewa-Makai Middle school did:
Mahalo your time and consideration. Please call me if you have any concerns or questions.
