-Please see the linked memo below regarding optional masking in outdoor settings at the HIDOE’s schools and facilities effective Wednesday, March 9, 2022
-Individuals should make their own decision to mask or not when outdoors based on whether they are at high risk for severe disease and other unique needs.

Please see the letter (by clicking on the above link) from Interim Superintendent Mr. Hayashi asking families to speak to their children about the serious nature of the TikTok challenges. The HIDOE is working with federal, state and county law enforcement to prosecute offenders to the fullest extent of the law.
NEW COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS FOR VISITING HAWAII STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SCHOOL AND OFFICES
Effective September 13, all visitors/workers (who plan to be on campus for more than 10 minutes) will be required to furnish proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative COVID-19 test (within 72 hours prior to visit). It is strongly recommended that you make an appointment prior to coming on campus and plan to provide your documentation upon check-in at the Front Office.
