Application Process
You can access the Application for Student to Ride School Bus at this 2023-24 School Bus Handbook.pdf or at this eTrition link. Hard copies are also available at the KHIS Front Office. The application period for Quarter 1 begins on July 17. Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
Students with a Geographic Exception (GE) will be considered for school bus transportation on a space available basis. This requires a hard copy CS-101 form (only available in the Front Office) to be submitted to the Front Office with the Application for Student to Ride School Bus form. Both forms will be held for up to 4 weeks pending bus seat availability. Please note that students with a GE are not eligible for free bus service. Parents must provide alternative transportation while the application approval process is pending.
Application Periods
Quarter 1: July 17, 2023 – August 31, 2023
Quarter 2: September 18, 2023 – October 31, 2023
Quarter 3: November 27, 2023 – January 31, 2024
Quarter 4: February 19, 2024 – April 30, 2024
Applications must be submitted on a QUARTERLY basis and will not be accepted outside of the indicated periods so please plan accordingly. NO ANNUAL PASSES FOR STUDENTS.
