FEBRUARY is Social Awareness Month.  Remember our CHOOSE ALOHA campaign early in
the year and remember to be kind. Choosing Aloha means having the courage to be grateful when
life is not easy, to forgive even when the person who hurt you is not sorry, and to step outside
your own world to help someone else. When we CHOOSE ALOHA in our thoughtful responses
we take our personal power back and make the world a better place.

parent/guardian within three (3) days of the excused absence.  The email address is

ATTENDANCE DETENTION
Serve your detention hours today! As a reminder, detention hours not served are considered
an obligation. Students will need to serve their accumulated detention hours for unexcused
absences prior to participating in extracurricular activities such as the Prom, May Day Court
auditions, Winter Sports, etc. Written notes for excused absences should be submitted or
emailed to [email protected]  within three days of student absences. Detention hours

NEW INFINITE CAMPUS APP
The app that currently is used to view online grades, infinite campus, now has an entirely
new version which must be downloaded. Be sure to download the appropriate app as a
parent or student, as they are different and won't work with your log in if you are not using
the correct one. The current infinite campus app will soon be discontinued. Please call
(808) 305-7410 or email [email protected] if you have questions about
how the app works, and contact your grade level counselor if you are having trouble

NEW ID INFORMATION
-Please be advised that replacement IDs will now cost $5 each. Parents/Guardians will
get notification of their child’s replacement ID fees via quarterly report cards. You can
also call 305-7394 to get  information on replacement ID fees. Replacement ID fees are
considered student obligations and need to be paid prior to students participating in
extra-curricular activities. -Every replacement ID gets a brand new code so students will
not be able to use their old IDs to get school meals. This prevents other students from
using lost/stolen IDs to purchase school meals.

-Students will be required to show their ID to get a school meal. Students may obtain a
replacement ID in Q-0,  Mon - Fri 7:30am - 7:55am. and recess on Monday, Thursday &
Friday,  9:40am - 9:55am, Tuesdays,  9:25am - 11:05am. Wednesdays,  9:25am - 9:40am,
Replacement IDs will not be available during lunch periods.     -Admin

NEW LOCK OUT PROCEDURES
Due to students going to Lock Out to purposefully avoid class, time in Lock Out will be
marked as unexcused absences. Students will not be able to get make-up work or be excused
from work missed while in Lock Out. Unexcused absences will also count towards
accumulated detention hours. As a reminder, students who are found roaming on campus
instead of going to Lock Out, will get a referral for class cutting, insubordination, and/or
truancy. We are working on setting up a separate daily phone message to report the periods
that students spend in Lock Out. It is important to be in class and to get to class on time!

STUDENT OFF CAMPUS PASS

instructional time.

1. Date note was written
2. Child's legal name and grade level

released to their parent/guardian documented in school records (this does not include
