On Tuesday, February 4th at 5:30pm, the Kahuku Public and School Library will host John Henry Nichols, a jazz musician and artist residing in Ko'olauloa.

He will share more about his experience as an African American artist working and residing in Hawai'i. This event is part of our ongoing Black History in Hawai'i series.  

Light refreshments will be generously provided by the Friends of the Library of Kahuku. 

On Tuesday, February 11th at 5:30pm, we will screen HARRIET (PG-13) in the Kahuku Cool Lab. Families are welcome to bring snacks to enjoy while viewing.  
This event is part of our ongoing Black History in Hawai'i series.  
 
On Tuesday, February 18th at 5:30pm, We will have a second chance to make Mug Cozy.
Sewing machine experience is recommended. Interested patrons need to RSVP online via our librarieshawaii.org website.

On Tuesday, February 25th at 5:30pm, we will host portrait painter Kimberly Keys
She chooses notable African American subjects for our portraits to perpetuate culture and diversity on the islands. 
This event is part of our ongoing Black History in Hawai'i series.  
Light refreshments will be generously provided by the Friends of the Library of Kahuku. 
 
During the first two weeks of February, we will provide supplies to make Valentine's Day cards
Bring your ideas and sweet messages to spread the love.
 
Also, if your keiki is involved in the Ko'olauloa Battle of the Books, we set the date for this year's competition. 
Saturday, April 18th from 4pm to 8pm
Kahuku Ballroom at Turtle Bay Resorts
*Must be part of school team within the Ko'olauloa school district. 
 

Keiki Music with Aunty Ilene will be on Mondays, February 10th and 24th at 10am.

Lego Club (drop-in, free play) is scheduled for Wednesdays from 2 to 4pm.

Story Time is scheduled for all Fridays in February at 10am with Michelle Henderson.

AARP Tax-Aide will resume on Thursday mornings from 9:30am to 1:30pm in February through early April.

No appointments, only walk-ins. First come, first served.

The library will be closed on February 17, 2020 for President's Day.
