Health Fair this Wednesday from 4-6pm

On Wednesday, our health learning center students will be hosting a free health fair in the cafeteria from 4-6 pm. We would love to have our teachers and administrators there to support our students and see the great work they've been doing this year. If you are available, please stop by, even if it's just for a short time. Also, please encourage your students to attend. There will lots of informative booths, health screenings and games to participate in. All are welcome.

We could also use some help with giving our students feedback after going to their booths. If you are willing to provide feedback, please let myself or Brittney know.

Thanks in advance for your support
Amy and Brittney

Community Recycling Drive this Saturday, 4/15/2017, 9am-noon

Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives provide opportunities for schools, families & community members to drop off a variety of goods for reuse and recycling. They are held on Saturdays at Oʻahu schools throughout the school year, and proceeds from HI-5 containers, scrap metal and used cooking oil go directly to the host school.

Stop by to drop off miscellaneous recyclable items! We will be collecting scrap metal (bicycles, large & small appliances, etc.), electronics (including computers, TVs, laptops, printer cartridges, cell phones, cameras, game systems, & more), batteries, clothing/household items, used household cooking oil, HI-5 beverage cans & bottles and more. Confidential documents will be collected in locked bins by Goodwill Hawaiʻi and shredded securely at their headquarters at Mapunapuna.
