NHS BOARD MEETING
Will all NHS officers please come to a meeting in Y-102 during lunch on Thursday,

APPLICATIONS FOR NHS MEMBERSHIP FOR SY 2017-2018 ARE AVAILABLE NOW!
The Koolauloa Chapter has rigorous and high standards for select members.
Students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.5 in order
to receive an NHS resume form. Overall, students must be exemplary in Scholarship,
Leadership, Character, and Service. These are the National Criteria for all NHS
members. Please ask your teacher for an application, or see Mrs. Hansen del Rey in
Y102. Applications are due by Dec.1, 2017, for 9-12 grade students. If you are a
member for NJHS, you must reapply for NHS., - K. Hansen
STUDENT ATHLETIC CARDS
Purchase an Athletic Card $25.00
- Good for all OIA Season Games home and away
- Or you will pay $8.00 at the gate for Football, $7.00 at the gate for Volleyball/Basketball
- Over $100.00 in savings.
- Good for a discount during OIA Play Offs
- Pay at the front office account clerk
- Pick up 3 days later from P-23 Before or After School, During Recess or Lunch.

MANDATORY PARENT MEETING
Reminder: Tomorrow, Wednesday is the Mandatory Parent Meeting for all Fall Sports.
6pm, Cafe, Kahuku High School. Students athletes and those wishing to try out still,
it is mandatory for a parent/legal guardian to attend in order to participate. If a
parent already attended for a Football sibling, they only need to fill in the
acknowledgement Form. - G. Yamagata
PLAN FOR SUCCESS
Successful people have certain things in common. Learn what those things are and
put them to practical use in JROTC. It's probably not what you think. State level
competitions, academic competitions, leadership camps, adventure activities and
much more. JROTC offers college scholarships every year. Stop by JROTC or
see your counselor. The sooner the better! - W. Brandt
STUDENT ATHLETIC PASSES
All Students who purchased an Athletic Pass, please come to P-23 to pick up your
Athletic Pass. Pick up passes, before school, after school, recess &
lunch. You are required to Present an ID to Pick up your Pass. Thank you, and
see you at the game this Friday. Kahuku vs Leilehua TV, 5pm JV, Varsity Follows.
