COLLEGE WEEK QUESTION 1
This is College/Career Week! College Question 1:
4 Year Universities require one of two types of test results to be "admitted" or "accepted" into
the school. What are these tests called? Answer: ACT or SAT Tests.
What is the difference? The tests are on different scoring scales and the ACT includes science
as the SAT does not. Either test has an optional writing requirement. Do colleges require one
or the other? No, either test result is acceptable. These tests should be taken early junior year
and can be taken every two months. Find the schedule in the college and career center or on

HAVING TROUBLE WITH YOUR IC APP?
There are a couple of new and recent issues if your app is not working... Try these
things... If it cannot verify you as a user get on a computer and log in. You may
be asked to update your contact email or change your password. Remember, your
Kahuku Gmail will not work as an IC recovery email! No person outside of the Kahuku
Google system can email a student's gmail. If your app is asking for a district to search
for, type "Hawaii" as the district name and then select the only entry that pops up. Email
me on your Kahuku gmail if you need more help. - M. Jackson
